The Kink Launch 20" BMX is an all round bike for the beginner or intermediate rider. It is the next model up from the Kink Curb and features some higher quality components as well a slightly longer top tube. Whether this is your first BMX bike or you're upgrading from another 20" bike this is sure to handle all the demands you can throw at it.

What parts are on the Kink Launch BMX bike?

The Kink Launch BMX bike features a durable High Tensile Steel frame combined with tapered fork legs and a chromoly steerer tube which are connected with a Mission sealed headset.

This 20" BMX bike has many high end components including a tried and trusted Mission Function semi-sealed rear 9 tooth, 14mm cassette hub. The front hub is the Mission Covert loose ball and both hubs are both laced onto Mission X7 rims with 36 spokes. These are running on Kink Sever 2.4" wide tyres with a knurled tread pattern designed for all different types of riding.

The Mission Triumph tubular BMX cranks are made from Chromoly and are 170mm long. These have a 19mm diameter, 8 splined spindle and sealed bottom bracket bearings ensuring your ride is maintenance free. Completing the drive chain is a Mission Breach 25 tooth sprocket and Kink Hemlock pedals.

Up top there's Kink Ace flangeless grips on 8.75" rise Kink K875 High Tensile Steel bars which are clamped to a Kink Bold HRD Top Load stem. The Mission Token brake lever connects to the Mission Cease V2 rear brake via a Mission L3 Linear cable to give you good stopping power.

Ensuring you have a comfortable ride is the Mission Warsaw Combo seat attached to a 25.4mm standard sized BMX seat post.

What age is the Kink Launch 20 inch suitable for?

We would recommend this bike for riders that are between 155cm/5'1" to 165cm/5'5" tall. Based on UK data this would typically be for a child between the ages of 13 and 15 years old. This is only an approximate guide and you may find riders that are slightly shorter or taller can competently ride this bike, many adult riders prefer a shorter top tube like this bike has.

If you are looking for a BMX bike with a shorter top tube check out the Kink Curb and if you're looking for a 20" BMX bike with a slightly longer top tube check out the Kink Gap bike.

What type of BMX riding is the Kink Launch suitable for?
