This tyre has all the features of the KHE Mac2+ foldable tyre but with a wire bead instead of a Kevlar bead. Although this makes the tyre heavier than its Kevlar equivalent it is still lighter than many other wire bead tyres on the market. The wire bead also helps keep the cost down making it one of the best value BMX tires on the market.

The Mac2+ BMX tyre uses a wire bead inside the tyre to help keep it fitted firmly to the rim as well as a higher TPI (Threads Per Inch) construction, to achieve this the threads are thinner which further reduces the weight while also allowing the tyre to be pumped up to a higher pressure.

This tyre is ideal for riders that want the proven tread design and high pressure construction of the Mac2+ tyre but aren't ready to spend the extra money on the Kevlar version.
